Jon and I met when I was just 18 and he was 20. We were both attending Intervarsity, a Christian student ministry on campus. I became a Christian my sophomore year of college and we started dating the next month. One year later we were married. I love that I have grown into adulthood with my husband.
Three years after being married, we had Micah. Two years later came Alex. Two children seemed like a great place to stop, so we gave all of our baby stuff and extra clothes away. As the boys grew, we gained more freedom and started to enjoy moving into a new phase of life.
Then, a whisper of adoption came into our hearts. That whisper became a loud voice in the Spring of 2005. Thus began our adoption journey to Nathaniel, Lily, and Mae. A journey that started this blog, and a journey that has taught me patience. For many years it was a story of heartbreak, but in the end it was a story of God's plan for our lives.
I am full of flaws and am so thankful for God's grace. I pray that as you read my blog, you will see Christ working in my life.
