Preschool with the Littles

I decided to stop being overwhelmed with my three littles and do something productive. A friend encouraged me to start having some circle time with Nathaniel, Lily, and Mae. She helped me see that I didn't need some indepth program. All I needed were a few books, songs, and a focus for the week.

My focus this past week has been on colors. We read Brown Bear, Brown Bear and matched colors together. I was surprised at how quickly they picked it up. We focused on just three colors; red, yellow, and green. Nathaniel has been proudly telling me the colors of everything all day long. He is one sharp kid! I know that most four year-olds would have their colors down by now, but remember he has only been hearing English for three months.

I love the time that we are spending together. Shockingly enough, I love to teach preschool! It's so much fun having more than one at a time at this level. They all just eat it up.

I just wish my bigs enjoyed school as much as my littles!
